Privacy Policy

Effective & Last Updated: August 30, 2026

At Trifecta Business Group, we believe that secure commercial financing relies on complete transparency and absolute privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, protect, use, and disclose information belonging to small business applicants, brokers, and partners operating across the United States and Canada.

1. Our Core Promises & Data Philosophy

Your Data is Siloed

We never sell your company's information, financial history, or loan metrics. Deal documents are strictly protected from competing lenders and are never used to train machine learning or AI models.

Bank-Level Encryption

All information, financial statements, and personal identification data are protected using industry-standard 256-bit encryption protocols, both in transit and at rest.

Targeted Access

Partner lenders only receive your information when you explicitly submit a funding package to them for review.

2. Information We Collect

To assess your business's eligibility for commercial funding options, including term loans, asset-based lending, and revenue-based financing, we may collect the following types of information.

A. Information You Voluntarily Provide

  • Legal entity name and trade names (DBAs)
  • Corporate address
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Canadian Business Number
  • Business structure or entity type
  • Operating industry
  • Length of time in business
  • Annual or monthly revenue, average bank balances, and merchant processing volumes
  • Active accounts receivable aging reports
  • Current outstanding business debt obligations

Underwriting Documentation

We may collect documents submitted as part of the funding process, including corporate bank statements, tax returns, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and business plans.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • IP addresses, browser type, and unique device identifiers
  • Operating system information
  • Geographical location inferred through network routing
  • Session analytics such as feature usage, button clicks, and application progress — used to maintain platform security and prevent online fraud

C. Third-Party Data Sourcing

With your explicit consent during the application process, we may obtain corroborating information from commercial credit reporting agencies, open banking verification services such as Plaid, and public asset registries.

3. How We Use Collected Information

We use business and personal information to provide and manage commercial loan origination services, including:

  • Evaluating potential funding matches across our network of more than 50 alternative and institutional lenders

  • Sending system notifications and loan approval updates
  • Providing relevant financial information and insights requested through our website portals

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We share information only when necessary to provide our services or comply with applicable legal requirements.

Matched Lenders

When you submit a funding inquiry, relevant information and files may be distributed exclusively to the specific funding partners assigned to review your application.

Service Providers

We may share information with trusted service providers that support our operations, including cloud storage and infrastructure providers such as Google Cloud, identity verification and validation services, and electronic document and signature services.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law or in response to valid legal processes, including judicial subpoenas, court orders, federal or provincial regulatory inquiries, and other legally binding requests from authorized government authorities.

5. Cross-Border Operations (United States & Canada)

Because we provide funding solutions across both the United States and Canada, your information may be transferred, stored, or processed across international borders. When data is stored or processed in another country, it may be subject to the lawful access requirements and legal obligations of that jurisdiction.

6. Data Retention & Portability

We retain underwriting and operational information for as long as your platform profile remains active or as required by applicable corporate and financial record-keeping laws. You retain ownership of your information and may request access to or export of your application records. You may also request account deletion at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer.
